  49. Hmmm, sounds like you could be trying to read something which isnt there, and
  50. the program is locking up. One thing you could do is to telnet to the server,
  51. and perform the exact same function as your program will do, and carefully
  52. watch
  53. to see what is being received and sent when you key in things.

  55. When I was experimenting with my POP3 client, I often used to lock the system
  56. up
  57. whilst testing it. AMOS doesnt seem to let go after a timeout, either  =(
